With its modern and refreshing designs, Halo represents exciting growth and expansion for CBC in the luxury vinyl tile category. With the addition of the Halo brand, CBC now offers one of the widest ranges of luxury vinyl tile in the industry for the commercial specifier, including 36 designs in its wood line; 42 colorways in its stone line; and 104 dynamic SKUs in its third line simply called, “Something Different.”

CBC Flooring appoints new agent, expands distributor's coverage area

COMMACK, N.Y. — CBC Flooring continues to enhance its distribution channels with the appointment of a new agent and expansion of an existing distributor’s area of coverage.

Interior Contract Group (ICG) is an independent agent now representing the TOLI and CERES brands. ICG Floors will cover the states of Iowa and Nebraska, along with the quad cities area of Illinois.

In addition, Professional Flooring Supply (PFS) now distributes the TOLI and CERES lines in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. The three new states are an extension of the current PFS distribution area that includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Northern Louisiana.

THRU Vision Series

January 11, 2010, Commack, NY – CBC announced the Ganz® THRU Vision Series of cameras and lenses, engineered to sharpen and increase visibility in conditions where fog, haze, smog, sand or rain impede outdoor video surveillance. The “MIST” technology, pioneered by CBC and the first of its kind, can be used for mission-critical perimeter surveillance, port, harbor and airport security applications.

The real-time MIST technology of the Ganz® THRU Vision Camera works with any C/CS-mount lens, by focusing through obstacles present in the atmosphere that can obstruct or deteriorate video image quality (i.e. fog, rain, haze, smoke or snow). The camera’s dynamic range control (DRC) function detects and measures image intensity on the screen.
By digitally adjusting color and contrast, poor quality images caused by environmental factors are automatically corrected. Digital and True Day/Night models are available.

For extreme long distance surveillance, the THRU Vision Camera can be paired with the Computar® THRU Vision 60X Zoom Lens (25-1500mm w/extender) to clear obstacles and provide images clearer than the human eye. CBC Launches Indelval Brand in U.S.

OCTOBER 28, 2009 - COMMACK, N.Y. — CBC Flooring is proud to announce it has become the exclusive source of Indelval rubber flooring in North America.

The Indelval brand has been long recognized globally for its exceptional quality in the rubber flooring market, due to its combination of high natural rubber content and its proprietary high pressure vulcanization process, which ensures its products are durable, long lasting, easy to maintain and environmentally friendly.

“We are proud to bring our years of expertise in the rubber flooring market to contractors, architects and designers in the U.S.,” said Omar Rivarola, President of Indelval, which was founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina, more than 40 years ago.

CBC’s Flooring Division decided to bring this brand to the U.S. marketplace after careful consideration of Indelval’s production capabilities and standards, to ensure it is a good product for the U.S. market, said Jeff Collum, Director of Flooring for CBC. Offering Indelval products in both homogenous and double-backing construction allows contractors and designers to source an entire hospital including patient rooms, hallways and operating rooms, which often require homogenous flooring to meet special hygenic requirements, exclusively with CBC products.

“Right now there are limited offerings of rubber sheet flooring in the U.S. market and we hear about it often from our existing customers,” said Collum. “We are delighted to now be positioned to meet that demand in the healthcare, education, and sports facilities markets with this outstanding product, and offer the commercial flooring market a choice of flooring providers.”

The Indelval brand will offer a total of 18 product lines in North America. All Indelval products are made with a high content of natural rubber harvested directly from rubber trees, a renewable resource, and are free of PVCs, plasticizers, halogens, formaldehydes, heavy metals and asbestos. Eco-friendly color pigments, recycling of waste from the manufacturing process and only recyclable packaging materials are more examples of the commitment Indelval has made to being good stewards of the environment. The products and installation systems will contribute to a number of LEED credits including Materials and Resources Recycled Content 4.1 and 4.2, Reuse 3.1 and 3.2 and IEQ Credit 4.1 and 4.3 for indoor air quality.
