May 13, 2020 - Cary, NC - CBC AMERICA, along with their supplier/partner, Kuraray Company, announced today the recertification of their unique multi-purpose solvent, Methoxy Methyl Butanol (MMB). As a result, MMB has met the EPA's Safer Choice Standard and the Criteria for Safer Chemical Ingredients (EPA Clean Gredient) and has been qualified for use in Safer Choice products.

 

MMB is used in various industrial and household cleaning, laundry detergents, and disinfecting products.  MMB’s features and benefits include:

• Less Toxic

• Less effect on Plastics

• Miscible in Water

• Works in very high and low pH systems

• Less Effect on Enzymes
