ISOMATE® dispensers are designed to passively release low doses of pheromone at a variable temperature-dependent rate distributed uniformly throughout the orchard or vineyard 24/7. In the case of the Codling Moth, competitive attraction brings males to the dispensers where exposure to a high concentration of pheromone saturates sensory structures, preventing mating with signaling females. Strategic placement of 200 to 400 ISOMATE CM/OFT TT throughout the orchard increases the potential to prevent mating.
PULSED HIGH-DOSE DELIVERY FROM DAWN TO DUSK
ISOMATE CM/OFM Mist emitters are engineered to switch on/off in 15-minute intervals to flood the orchard with high-dose plumes of mating disruption pheromones resulting in habituation (desensitization) and arrested movement of male moths. Mist emitter applied at one to two per Acre effectively disrupts mating all season long with minimal labor to install. Air movement disperses the pheromone to every corner of the orchard.
